The 1960s
In American Civics, students have been learning about the 1960s. This was a tremendous decade full of a variety of events that changed our nation. We have discussed the Cold War, the Vietnam war, Civil Rights, and the scandals of President Nixon. One item we were unable to really delve into was the music of the 60s. For FIVE bonus points, share your favorite song from the 1960s. Include the artist and a short explanation of why it's your favorite. Be sure to post by Monday, May 7th, at the start of the school day.

I'll take pity on you two and give you bonus points too--mainly because your songs are pretty good choices. Of course I'm taking ten points off someone's grade for mentioning one of my all-time favorite movies!
